Hi, I'm Lydia – the face behind Lens By Lydia Photography.
I'm a Gloucestershire-based photographer, but I'm always up for an adventure and happy to travel for a shoot because the best memories can be made anywhere.
I photograph a little bit of everything – weddings, families, pets, business, and headshots. Why? Because I love people, I love stories, and I love capturing all of life's special moments, whether it's a huge milestone or one of those beautifully ordinary moments you'll want to remember forever.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
One of my favourite things about photography is that no two sessions are ever the same. Every person, couple, family, pet, and business has their own unique story, and I absolutely love getting to know the people in front of my camera. The best sessions are always the ones filled with laughter, genuine moments, and a whole lot of fun.
For me, photography is about so much more than creating beautiful images. It's about freezing moments in time – the memories, the feelings, and the little details that make your story yours – so you can look back years from now and relive it all over again with a huge smile on your face.
MY APPROACH
I love capturing the real stuff... the belly laughs, the happy chaos, the little glances, and all those in-between moments that often end up meaning the most.
I want every session to feel relaxed and fun. Think less awkward posing and more enjoying the moment. We'll chat, laugh, and have a good time while I capture your story naturally as it unfolds.
